Press Release 2023 Census: State Advocacy Committee commences sensitization tour of LGAs   The Ekiti State Advocacy and Steering Committee for the 2023 National population census will embark on advocacy/ sensitization tour of the 16 local government areas of the state between Wednesday 26th and Friday 29th April, 2023. The Chairman of the committee, who is also the Special Adviser to the Governor on Budget, Economic Planning and Performance Management, Mr Adeniyi Adebayo disclosed this at the end of the committee's meeting held at the Governor's office in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday. According to the time table for the Advocacy visit, the committee will visit Ado Ekiti, Ise/Orun, Emure, Oye and Ido/ Osi local government areas on Wednesday; while the committee will be meeting with stakeholders in Ikere, Ekiti South West,Efon, Ekiti West, Ilejemeje and Moba local government areas on Thursday 28th April. Adaran bows out of Ekiti Civil Service, as well wishers extol her outstanding virtues.

By Abiodun OLOFE The Permanent Secretary,  Ministry of Art, Culture and Tourism, Mrs Mercy Bosede Adaran has bowed out of the state civil at the maximum retirement age of sixty years. Mrs Adaran, whose virtues and good leadership qualities were recounted by dignitaries who graced her exit from the service and her diamond birthday celebrations. By John Kayode AYODELE The Office of the Senior Special Assistant on Community Communications Ekiti State wishes to announce to all unemployed persons in Ekiti State that the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has commenced the registration of unemployed persons with or without certificates across all Local Government Areas in Nigeria.  The SSA Community Communications: Mrs. Mary Oso OMOTOSO encouraged the unemployed Youths in the State to visit their Local Government Areas, Local Council Development Areas office to register or the NDE office that is situated at Number 91, Ajilosun Street, beside UBA ,Ado Ekiti . Mrs. Mary Oso noted that the Youths do not need to tender any certificate to register. The registration is not limited to graduates only. Unemployed persons, with or without certificates, who are above 15 years of age, are eligible.  The Registration closes on Friday, 5th May, 2023.

Governor Oyebanji gave the assurance at a stakeholders' meeting with Traditional Rulers of the state.
