Adaran bows out of Ekiti Civil Service, as well wishers extol her outstanding virtues.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Art, Culture and Tourism, Mrs Mercy Bosede Adaran has bowed out of the state civil at the maximum retirement age of sixty years.
Mrs Adaran, whose virtues and good leadership qualities were recounted by dignitaries who graced her exit from the service and her diamond birthday celebrations.
One of the dignitaries at the event that held at the State Cultural Centre, Ado Ekiti, who is the Permanent Secretary, Ekiti State Teaching Service Commission, Mr Michael Omolayo described the celebrant as a diligent, hardworking and decent personality who was leaving behind an indelible mark that would be difficult to erase.
Mr Omolayo said that the retiring Permanent Secretary has contributed in no mean measure to the development of the state public service in particular, and the entire state in general.
While felicitating the outgoing PS, her Teaching Service Commission colleague admonished her to continue her good deeds even in retirement
Earlier, the Director of Tourism, Ministry of Arts, Culture and Tourism, Mr Adelusi Adebanji, while speaking on behalf of the management and staff of the ministry, described Adaran as a mother, a role model as well as one of the resourceful persons in the Ekiti State Civil Service, whose exit from the service will be greatly missed.
The Director charged the civil servants to always imbibe a good character like the outgoing icon, adding that Adaran has served humanity and the state government without blemish, and that the short period she spent in the Ministry will not be forgotten in a hurry.
In his own contribution, His Royal Highness Oba Jacob Adetoyo, the Oluwori of Ijesha land described Mrs Bosede Mercy Adaran as a 'merciful' mother according to her name and implored audience to emulate her kind virtue.
Speeking on behalf of Adaran family, Prof Femi Oke described the celebrant as a mother and not just a wife and a gender worthy of celebration. The family's spokesperson expressed that the family is not surprised seeing her in the position she occupied lately, because she deserved even more and the family is proud of her.
A staff from one of the celebrant's former Ministry, Ministry of Education Science and Technology ,Mr Boyode Ogunmola attested to her humility, humane and goodness that have been reeled out by earlier speakers, stressing the strength of her character and good gestures.
A childhood friend of the celebrant also attested to her good behavior right from their Secondary School days till now which remained intact.
High point of the event was the different performances by the Ekiti State performing Arts company, top Government functionaries, Women in Management and well wishers from different sectors were also in attendance to grace the occasion.
