NYCN: The Acting National President, Comrade Akoshile Mukhtar has assured the Nigerian Youths that sanity would be restored back to the Council

As part of the plans to restore sanity back to the National Youth Council of Nigeria, the Acting National President of the Council, Comrade Akoshile Mukhtar on Monday, had a strategic meeting with the State Chairmen of the Council. 

The strategic meeting which was held in Abuja was well attended the the critical stakeholders and the legitimate State Chairmen of the Council. 

The sitting frown at how the Council was factioned in many States of the Federal and resolved to restore sanity back to the Council. 

Addressing the journalists after the meeting, the Chairman of the Council in Ekiti State, Comrade James Segun Bankole affirmed that the appointment of Comrade Akhosile as the Acting National President of the Council is the best decision ever made in recent times as far as the Council is Concern in Nigeria. 

Comrade James Bankole, while responding to the questions on insecurity, appreciated President Bola Tinubu, Governor Biodun Oyebanji and the Security Outfits for their efforts towards the release of the Pupils that were kidnapped in Emure Local Government of Ekiti Staye with their Teacher.

In another development, the Kogi State Chairman of the Council, Comrade Ben Jerry, who was also at the meeting called the general Public to stop transactions with the sacked President of the Council, Comrade Sukubo sara-igbe Sukubo on the name of the National Youth Council of Nigeria. 

Recall, that the National Executive Council on 29th January, 2024 suspended Mr. Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo as its National President on a Eight Points charges against him. 

Sukubo Sara-Igbe was sacked for collecting a sum of #369 Million Naira from Politicians and Political Parties during the 2023 General elections on the new of the Council, illegal review of the 2012 Constitution of the National Youth Council of Nigeria without recourse to the National Management Committee and without obtaining the approvals of the National Congress and the Board of Trustees, forgery, Unilateral and self-aggrandizing decisions, Secret initiation and exchange of correspondences with governments and government agencies, fueling the emergence of factions at various state levels of the Council.
