Be more dutiful and diligent in your duties as journalists, HOS charges Information Officers

Barrister Bamidele AgbedeMembers of the information chapel the f Nigeria Union of Journalists have been charged to be more dutiful, diligent, and proactive in their duties and responsibilities.
This charge was made today when the new Ekiti State head of service, Barr. Bamidele Agbede played host to the leadership of the information chapel who was in his office on a courtesy visit.
Barrister Agbede narrated the important roles information officers had played in the successive government in Ekiti State and echoed the need for them to keep up the good and professional jobs the cadre was created for.
He admonished the chapel to represent the government well in their capacity among the comity of chapels' open-pushing profession and also commended the versatility of some information officers.
Earlier in his address, the team lead and the chairman of the chapel, Comrade O'seun Ogunsakin described the new Head of Service as a round peg in a round hole which made him a rare gift to Ekiti civil service.
He said the visit became imperative having considered the person of the Head of Service as a committed public servant and somebody with an amiable and enviable antecedent.
The chairman however stressed the need for the entire workforce of Ekiti to corporate with Barrister Agbede as the new head of service in Ekiti State after presenting the position paper of the union to him.
Other members of the entourage included comrade(s) Wale Obelewaji, Jide Bello, Femi Bamisaye, Charles Ademolaju, Abiodun Olofe, Tope Babalola, Feyishina Rotimi and Ayo Oguntoyinbo.
